A nature walk with Eco Suda is more than simply walking from one place to another. It is an
opportunity to slow down, observe, listen and discover the natural world that is often overlooked
in our everyday lives.
Our nature walks encourage participants to look closely at their surroundings and notice the
wildlife, plants, trees, insects, birds and other features of the environment around them.
Depending on the location and the needs of the group, a session might focus on bird watching,
seasonal changes, plants, insects, wildlife signs, habitats or conservation. We encourage
questions and conversation throughout the experience, making the walk suitable for people with
different levels of existing knowledge.
Eco Suda understands that not everyone experiences outdoor activities in the same way. Our
walks can therefore be adapted to the abilities and comfort of participants, with appropriate
routes and a relaxed pace wherever possible. The purpose is not to complete a particular
distance or reach a destination quickly. The purpose is to experience nature.
For care homes and clients with mobility considerations, suitable outdoor spaces such as
accessible gardens or nearby locations can be explored where appropriate. Where a
conventional nature walk is not practical, we can offer an indoor alternative that brings the
experience of nature to the participant.
Our conservation background adds an important dimension to every walk. We can explain not
only what participants are seeing, but why it matters how species interact, how habitats
function and how human activities can affect wildlife.
Nature walks can be educational, social and enjoyable at the same time. They provide an
opportunity to step away from routine, spend time outdoors and share an experience with
others.
Whether you are discovering a familiar local park from a new perspective or exploring a natural
area for the first time, Eco Suda encourages you to walk slowly, look closely and discover
more.
